Next time you’re in a shoe store, don’t take off your shoes!

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Often times, when you go to a shoe store you find yourself constantly having to take off and try different pairs of shoes, but what if you could determine shoe size without actually having to take your shoes off? or you find yourself trying to figure out the shoe size of someone you like so you can get them a new pair of shoes, how do you figure this out without blowing your cover?

Science to the rescue, there is a focus of study within science called Anthropometry which is the scientific study of the measurements and proportions of the human body. One very interesting proportion measurement is the length of your foot is about the same as the length of your forearm. Go head and measure! From heel to toe should be the same as from elbow to wrist.
